Sen. Sanders: Constitutional Power To Mandate Health Insurance 'Probably' in Same Place as Medicare
Wednesday, December 23, 2009 EST

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said that the constitutional authority for Congress to require Americans to buy health insurance "probably" comes from the same power the government relies on to run Medicare and Medicaid.

No. Senator Sanders you are Wrong. You are wrong on most everything. You're answer states you are unsure. Why did you take an oath to uphold the United States Constitution if you don't know for sure? The Difference kind sir is that this Bill makes EACH...INDIVIDUAL.. who is a US Citizen BUY health insurance. And.... it goes further to order EACH person to pay for others' health insurance. That, my dear Senator violates my US Constitutional rights as an United States Citizen. And, Sen. Sanders, I don't appreciate those who have taken an oath to uphold my rights under the US Consitution and then they violated that oath. This is TREASON agasint your OWN Country my friend. I have learned one thing about this Bill; Obama have gave the Democrats a bad name and you have given the Independants a bad name; we know now that Independants is just another name for Democrat. Sen. Sanders, you have violated the oath you took to unhold the US Constitution. All these people should be punished!

All I can say is come and get it. I earn no wages. I get no compensation. If you think you can get money from me you are even more stupid than you appear. And that boggles the mind.

Sen. Sanders (I-VT) is typical of the thugs, bumblers and ignoramus' we have been sending to Congress for the last 100 years. They are so used to mandating any ridiculous scheme that comes into their minds the thought of Constitutionality never enters their consciousness. Sen's. Feinstein (D-CA) and Conrad (D-ND)join Sanders in this Club of Nimrods. Sanders concludes that since the "Constitution" allows the Feds to authorise; Medicare, Medicaid, S-Chip and Veterans Benefits it also allows them to MANDATE citizens to buy health ins., or face fines and penalties. News Flash to Sen. Sanders: NONE of the programs you mentioned requires anyone to buy anything, they are entitlement (giveaway) programs. Medicare Part A is a no charge entitlement. Medicare Part B has a premium and is optional. Medicaid/S-Chip are pure WELFARE. Why, oh why do we keep electing Constitutional Illiterates to Congress. This type of ignorance and hubris is terrifying.
